Lagowski

Andrew Łagowski has been recording electronic music since 1982. Previous to that he was a drummer in local punk and new wave bands Silent Command and Aspros from Ipswich, UK. In 1981/82 he and Stephen Jarvis started Nagamatzu moving into experimental post punk industrial noise soundscapes, aided by loops and drum machines. The group lasted until 1991 but in 1988 he already had published his first solo cassette as Lagowski. While working with Brian Lustmord on the 'Heresy' album and the Terror Against Terror, Isolrubin BK releases his next solo releases were published - among them the Chromium Industries 12" series showing him developing a unique style of Industrial Techno.

1992 he established his first side-project Legion for dark ambient soundscapes which was terminated in 2008. 1992 saw the first S.E.T.I. release - a still ongoing project exploring experimental ambient. Lagowski continues to perform live with all his projects until the present day.
