Shake (also known as S.H.A.K.E.) were a Scottish punk/new wave band from Edinburgh consisting of three members of the recently defunct Rezillos (Jo Callis, Simon Templar, Angel Paterson) plus Liverpool musician Troy Tate (who later did one session with Teardrop Explodes). Former Rezillos member Jo Callis later joined Human League, after the band's only Peel session.

Peel gave the band a chance to do a session for his show in April 1979 and played further material from them on his shows during the spring of that year. After 1980, the band seemed to be largely forgotten by Peel.
