Rondellus are an Estonian musical ensemble. After recording several albums of early music on period instruments, in 2003 they released “Sabbatum: Medieval Tribute To Black Sabbath” in the same style, having translated the vocals to Latin ("War Pigs" = "Verres Militares"). Peel played several tracks from the Estonian medievalists' album of cover versions of Black Sabbath songs in Latin, which was sent to him by Terrorizer magazine.[1] He made the album his record of the month for June 2002 (Peel's Record Box) and is not known to have played any other recordings by the ensemble.
