Flying Lizards
From John Peel Wiki
- Best known for minimalist and quirky cover versions. A one-hit wonder in summer 1979 with a rendering of "Money", the early Motown classic also covered by The Beatles.
- First single, "Summertime Blues", was a big Peel favourite and made the Festive Fifty in 1978, when it was still an all-time list. JP mentioned in the broadcast how pleased he was to see it in there.
