  • Show is the third of four programmes broadcast from Edinburgh as part of "Radio 1 Week" and features quite a lengthy interview with Edwyn Collins and then later Peel mentions that the only band he's not met up with in Edinburgh is The Visitors. Later in the show John McVay from the band also turns up at the studio for an interview!
  • Peel's brother Alan is in the studio with him.
  • Tells a story about the first time he heard Otis Redding during his time in America.
  • Tracklisting completed courtesy of the John Peel Papers. Many thanks to the uploader to the John Peel Papers at Facebook for sharing the information. [1].
