  • David Bowie appears on the cover of the next issue of Radio Times (following Kenny Everett in the current edition), as he is due to star the following Tuesday in a TV production of Bertolt Brecht’s Baal. Peel comments that Bowie started out sounding like Anthony Newley and seems to have returned to that.
