The first night of Peel's second stint of sitting in for the Mark Radcliffe show on Radio One during 1996. Originally broadcast from 10 pm - midnight. Radcliffe and Lard (Marc Riley) were presenting the breakfast show this week.
The Half Man Half Biscuit track 'Paintball's Coming Home' caused some confusion when voted into that year's Festive Fifty. Peel was initially unable to locate the track for broadcast. See 21 December 1996.
