  • Peel had been at Portman Road on Saturday to see Ipswich Town open the season with a 2-1 win over Gillingham. While he was at the match, he discovered that the Hardcore artist Mark Brady (aka Breeze, of Breeze & Styles) is a follower of the club - "so expect many more of his records in these programmes."
  • John says he received "a bollocking from management" for the comments he'd made the previous evening about Liverpool striker Michael Owen.
  • Tonight's Pig's Big 78 was another of the purchases he'd made at an auction in Cambridgeshire over the weekend (as was the previous night's selection).
  • Looking forward to tomorrow evening's brand new session from the Fall, Peel notes that one of the recorded tracks is called 'What About Us'. He hopes that it's a cover of the Coasters track that he goes on to play. It isn't.

Sessions

  • Mono #1. Recorded 2004-07-21. No known commercial release.
