  • Peel mentions that it has been a great month for new LPs, and that he has played tracks from Swervedriver, Moe Tucker, Holger Hiller, Nirvana, and the Pixies, but the track he played from the last-named does not appear on this recording.

If she looks suitably waif-like and in need of male protection, in the eyes of her beholders anyway, then it'll probably do very well. Either way, I have no idea what she looks like and I don't especially care, because I think it's a great record.')

(JP: 'I should warn you, though, that on the LP at least three out of the nine tracks have already been released, so approach with caution and somebody else's credit card, if you possibly can.')
