• The first of 8 pre-recorded shows which filled in while Peel was on holiday in 1990. Each of the shows featured a Fall session from the early to mid 1980s and music which was released around the same time. Interesting to listen to his comments about music he had played/heard for a few years! (more comment to follow)
• JP: "A few weeks ago, someone writing in the NME said that these programs were the same in 1990 as they had been in 1980. I thought "He's right you know" and decided to play you lots of records from 1980, 81, along with a classic session from The Fall. Hence the awful 'Fall In August' title. Let's go ..."
